About

Gail Winzoski, CFP

Certified Financial Planner

604-547-8143
604-596-8777

Gail has been in the financial services industry for almost 30 years. She started her career with The Royal Bank where she focused on executive banking and working with high net-worth clients. Gail joined Chartwell Financial Group in 2000 and has obtained her Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation.

Balancing a life of work and raising two girls, Gail learned how to prioritize the important things, to set goals and take steps to achieve them. While her desire has always been to help people achieve financial independence through planning, Gail’s passion is tax and estate planning. She works with clients to educate them on how to effectively manage their finances and help reduce the income tax they pay, as she believes it goes a long way to ensuring they have adequate savings for retirement and helps maximize wealth for future generations.

Because there is so much information out there, Gail works with the intention of educating and is always driven by what is in the client’s best interest. She works with industry experts to present the best options for consideration and prides herself on the service she provides to her clients.

Outside the office, Gail can be found spending time with family and friends and taking her dog Gus for walks. She also volunteers as a Director for the Surrey Hospice Society Association. Another organization that is near and dear to her heart is the BC Children’s Hospital.

Steve Cameron, GBA

Financial Security Advisor

As the old adage goes, “some things are better the second time around”. Having previously worked as a financial security advisor with Freedom 55 Financial and Great-West Life, Steve left to focus on the customer service industry. Although he had a great job, after 18 years he was looking for the next challenge. Steve started to see his friends and peers were becoming more conscious about their financial future and given his background, he recognized the opportunity to help them.

Steve joined Chartwell Financial Group in 2010 because he was passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals. In September, 2011 he took over management of the Employee Benefits division of Chartwell where he takes pride in designing, implementing and maintaining cost- effective, unique benefit packages for clients. He works with the intention of educating (rather than selling) and he’s driven by what’s in clients' best interest.

When not enjoying time with his wife and two kids, Steve is a sports enthusiast and can be found fly fishing in the summer and skiing in the winter. He welcomes the opportunity to meet with you and learn more about how he can be of value going forward.
